How do you judge someone? Well, the first question should be, How do you know you are judging someone? When you give your views on someone with an expression that what you say is true or convincing, you are judging the person. We most often talk about being judged, and what about you judging someone? Aren't you forming an opinion about them?
Let's look at the picture upside-down. Isn't it a chain reaction? You judging someone and someone judging you. It's a loop.
On what basis do we judge?
Caste - We don't know which caste we may be born in.
Colour - We get that from our parents.
Looks - We get that from our parents too.
Language - Oh come on! We English speakers think ourselves to be way too superior right? Please think over it again.
Background - You never know. Some of you may be super rich, some poor, some from big cities and others from a small village.
You never know!!!!!
You can give me more reason but you won't sound reasonable. I can still tell why you should not.
It's them! Their behaviour, thoughts, the person they are.
We all judge others but what do we get? Satisfaction? happiness? Aren't we hypocrites? We do the same thing that we don't want others to do. I don't really know what we achieve from this, however, I can tell you-you won't be benefited either.
1. We all have the same time, which is wasted on analyzing what others have, what they don't, how they look, how they behave. Shouldn't we use this time for our own development? You are wasting your energy on someone who doesn't even matter.
2. You are spreading negative vibes, we mostly look at negative aspects, and thus focus on mistakes rather than appreciating good works. Start appreciating, you'll be happier.
3. And when it comes back to you, you feel insecure.
4. You are giving away a chance to meet one of the best people they could be. As it is said don't judge a book by its cover, in the same way, don't judge people by their looks. They may be the only person you crave for.
Stop being like that. Your comments and opinions can make someone depressed, insecure and scared. And this can't be justified by your short-term fun. Unless you step into shoes of someone, you can't understand why they are the way they are.
You never know anyone enough to judge him/her. Even something about your closest friend may surprise you! Then what about someone you barely know?
I have got flaws, so do you and so do everyone else.... instead of judging or mocking, give chance, make friends and help improve.
Thank you.
